Who we are

Stayscation LLC hosts two homes, in Nashville, Tennessee and Bradenton, Florida. Contact us about privacy at jason@stayscation.co.

What we collect

When you ask a question: your name, email, optional phone, the dates and guests you mention and your message.

When you book: your name, email and phone, the stay and its price. Payment happens on OwnerRez, our booking system; we never see or store card details.

During a stay: messages with us, and the private guest guide link we send, which records how often it is opened.

On this site: a short-lived security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) to stop automated abuse, and a cookie of our own that remembers how you found us (an ad, a search, a link), which we keep with an inquiry or booking you send.

Only if you click Accept on the cookie notice: Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which tell us which pages and ads bring guests and let us show our homes to you again. If you accept, we also send these services a booking or inquiry from our server, with your email scrambled (hashed). Choose No thanks and none of this loads; your booking works the same.

If you join our newsletter: your email, until you unsubscribe from any of our emails.

Cameras and sensors

Some homes have outdoor cameras and a noise-level sensor that alerts us to loud noise without recording what is said. Each home lists exactly what it has, and where, in "Before you book" on its page.

How we use it

To answer you, take and manage your booking, send what you need for your stay, keep the homes safe, and meet our tax and legal duties.

Our assistant software (Claude, by Anthropic) may draft replies to your messages. A person reads and approves every reply before it is sent, and your messages are not used to train it.

We may message you by email, text or WhatsApp about your stay. Newsletters go only to people who joined the list. We do not sell or rent your information.

Who helps us

OwnerRez (bookings and payments), Airbnb and Vrbo when you book there, Supabase (our database), Vercel (this website), Resend (email), Anthropic (drafting help), Cloudflare (security checks), Google and Meta (only after you accept cookies) and our accountant. Each receives only what its job needs.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records: seven years, for tax. Messages and inquiries: up to three years after your last stay or message. Your guest guide link stops working 30 days after checkout.

Your choices and deleting your information

Email jason@stayscation.co from the address you used, saying what you would like to see, correct or delete. We reply within 30 days. We delete or anonymize what we hold on this platform and ask OwnerRez to do the same, except what the law makes us keep (such as tax records), which we keep only for that purpose.
